The cast of Sanjay Gupta’s Shootout at Wadala is getting all the more exciting with each passing day. Reports say that Sonu Sood will be playing the Dawood’s role in the movie.

Already the film has an amazing star cast including Anil Kapoor, John Abraham, Kangana Ranaut and Manoj Bajpai in the role of Sabir. With Sonu playing Dawood, the film has got more X factor.

Sonu confirmed the news and said, “I am extremely thrilled to be a part of this prestigious project. Sanjay Gupta is one of the best technicians we have in the industry. I’ve been extremely keen to work with him He presents his actors like no one else. . On the other hand, Ekta Kapoor is one of the most prolific producers. She leaves no stone unturned for her films.”

Sonu Sood deems the character of Dawood very important. He says, “It’s an iconic role.”

The clash of two of the best bodies in the industry should be interesting to watch.” ‘Shootout at Wadala’ is a sequel to ‘Shootout at Lokhandwala’ and goes on floors this week. It is a film based on a real life story by Hussain Zaidi which talks about Dawood’s rise in the underworld and his contention with Many Surve essayed by John Abraham.
The film is slated for 7 December release and a collaboration of Balaji and White Feather Films.
